Terms of Service

1. Who can use Kimo

You must be 18 or older and able to agree to these terms. You're responsible for keeping access to your email, chat apps and devices secure, and for what happens in your account.

2. What Kimo does

Kimo helps you track food, workouts, weight, sleep and water by text, voice note or photo, estimates calories and macros, and gives general fitness and nutrition guidance based on your goals. Features may change as we improve the product.

3. Not medical advice

Kimo gives general information for healthy adults. It is not a medical device and does not diagnose, treat or prevent any condition. It doesn't replace a doctor, dietitian or other professional.

Talk to a professional before following Kimo's guidance if you have a medical condition, are pregnant or breastfeeding, take medication that affects appetite or weight, or have a history of disordered eating. Stop and get help if anything you do with Kimo makes you feel unwell. In an emergency, call your local emergency number.

4. AI estimates can be wrong

Calories, macros, burn estimates and replies are generated by AI and can be inaccurate, especially from photos and voice notes. Kimo shows what it assumed so you can check it, and you can correct any log. You decide what to eat and how to train; please use your own judgement.

5. Plans, payment and cancelling

• Free to start: you can try Kimo without a card.
• Paid plans: weekly, monthly or yearly, at the price shown when you subscribe (currently $5.99/week, $19.99/month or $99.99/year, plus any taxes). Payments are processed by Stripe.
• Renewal: plans renew automatically at the end of each period until you cancel.
• Cancelling: cancel any time from your account settings. You keep access until the end of the period you've paid for, and you won't be charged again.
• 30-day money-back guarantee: if Kimo isn't for you, email contact@joinkimo.com within 30 days of your first payment and we'll refund it in full.
• Price changes: we'll tell you before a new price applies to you, and you can cancel before it does.

Nothing in these terms affects your legal rights as a consumer, including any right to cancel under the law where you live.

6. Your content

Your messages, photos, voice notes and logs stay yours. You give us permission to store and process them only to run Kimo for you, as described in our Privacy Policy. Only send content you have the right to share.

7. Fair use

Please don't:

• use Kimo for anything illegal, harmful or abusive, or to harass anyone;
• try to break, overload, reverse-engineer or get around the security or limits of the service;
• use bots or scripts to access Kimo, or resell it;
• send content that isn't yours to share, or that is sexual, violent or hateful.

We may limit, suspend or close an account that breaks these rules, and we'll tell you why unless the law or safety prevents it.

8. Chat apps

When you use Kimo through Telegram or WhatsApp, those apps' own terms also apply to you. We aren't responsible for their availability.

9. Ending your account

You can stop using Kimo and delete your account at any time in Settings. Deleting it permanently removes your data, as our Privacy Policy explains. If you have a paid plan, cancel it first so you aren't charged again.

10. Availability and changes

We work to keep Kimo running, but it may sometimes be unavailable or have bugs. We may change or stop features. If we stop the service altogether, we'll give you reasonable notice and refund any unused time you've paid for.

11. Our responsibility

We provide Kimo with reasonable care and skill. Kimo is otherwise provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or unforeseeable losses, or for decisions you make based on Kimo's estimates, and our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

Nothing here limits liability that can't be limited by law, such as for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

12. Changes to these terms

If we change these terms, we'll update the date at the top. If a change matters, we'll tell you in the app or by email before it applies. If you don't agree, you can stop using Kimo and cancel your plan.

13. Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Emirate of Sharjah and the federal laws of the United Arab Emirates, and the courts of Sharjah have jurisdiction. If you live in a country whose consumer laws give you rights that can't be overridden by a contract (for example in the UK or the EU), you keep those rights and can also bring a claim in the courts where you live.
